Wiring harness connector clips

Working on replacing the radiator in the 2000 R, and as usual find multiple broken attachment clips for the various cable harness connectors. The main ones are the ones that the connector has a double sided groove (they face each other) that slides over a small plastic rectangular 'plate' and then the connect snaps onto the plate. The slide is in the direction of the cable. The clip is held in place by a plastic 'button' that snaps into either a metal or plastic mounting point. I would take a photo but can't find a complete one to do so. One of the clips holds the connector from the cooling fan about 6" from the top of the back of the radiator shroud.

There is a second similar style clip that mounts to a protuberance at the top RH of the fan shroud. That one I can photograph and will add below.

I have looked through Vida and cannot find a reference for them anywhere even in the wiring harness section.

Does anyone know part numbers? Long shot I know....

I think I know the clips you're talking about. I've got a broken one in my tailgate wiring, the movement is probably why the loose-ish wires for my license plate lights are still causing problems.
Check out AutoZone, Advance, or NAPA. Those stores usually have those kinds of clips and fasteners. Seems odd that VIDA wouldn't show such a seemingly simple part.

I know it is not OEM but zip ties are quick and cheap, even cheaper if you reuse them by opening with Dental pick, as my cheapskate Scottish friend in Calgary taught me.

that might have been me who started that, but its not like I reuse engine oil or anything...

Coffee filters allow you to reuse any fluid!

In the parts section of vida I have there is a connector listing under electrical system-cables and fuses-insulator covers... There is a pictorial listing of various bits. If that doesn't work Carquest used to have a paper wiring and connector catalog listing everything you can think of, but only an old-timer will know what you're talking about. I recall that Dorman also had a universal trim clip catalog you might try.

Thanks for the help guys! Yes I can just use zip-ties for the time being, but you know me, it needs to be right!

I looked through all the connectors and clips sections and none resembling the clip turned up. There was one that looked close but I found a picture of it and it wasn't close. It is surprising as this connector is used in several places around the engine bay.

I'll have a look for the CARQUEST info if it is still out there and Dorman to as suggested. Thanks for the tips!

Yes I have re0used zip-ties and coffee filters to ensure coolant was not contaminated!

Good luck finding a Carquest... they were bought out by Advance not long ago.

I just went and looked on my 1999 and all mine are broken like yours - and no part numbers.
