Manual ECC drivers side stalk is loose

I have noticed that the drivers side stays constantly warm. I have taken the knob off and notice that the stalk is loose and spins. The passenger side stalk does not move. Is there a way for me to tighten this so I can adjust the drivers side temperature?

The MCC uses wires to move the dampers to control flow and temp..you will need to get under the dash and pull the stuff out to see what has come loose, should be a low cost, labour only fix
