Steering wheel farts Topic is solved

My S80 has the Volvo steering wheel farts as does my XC70. It usually does it more when its cold out and after more than one complete revolution of the steering wheel.

Anyone found a solution to this?

Nothing? I find it hard to believe nobody has the same issue with the steering wheel creek/farting sound. Both my S80 and my father's 01 V70 XC do it.

Hopefully no smelly

I'd have a look at the rubber boot just at the bottom of the steering column behind the pedals. There's a small bearing at the top that usually seizes

Spray white lithium grease in the rubber boot, farts should stop.
