Yaw sensor location?

Post by gbmarc »

I have code BCM-0114 "Communication with Yaw sensor, signal missing". Before I get the BCM checked out, I would like to eliminate the YAW sensor end. I have seen instructions for the XC70 but not for the S60.
I removed the front 2 bolts of the passenger seat (RHS) and lifted the carpet with a bit of struggle, but didn't see any sensor.
Can anyone post a photo or give directions?

Thanks

Mark

Here you are:

(Position # 1 on diagram)
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
Disclaimer: We (very) seldom do that

Thanks for the link but it's not much help. I have the seat out. There's nothing attached to and under the seat except the wires and connectors for the seat controls. Under the carpet there are two black plastic vents but no Yaw sensor. I've looked pretty carefully and there's nothing there. Someone else mentioned under the center console but it's not clear how to remove that without breaking something.
