Leak on trans cooler pipe (where it meets radiator)

Post by enriquepr21 »

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum. I have a 2003 S60 and I just noticed a small drop forming on the bottom corner of the radiator. Looking closer and taking some pictures I found that the leak seems to come from the trans cooler line just above the radiator hose and it screens onto the radiator. I'm leaving some pictures so you can help me out to find if this is:

a known issue?
something easy to fix
It's a brand new radiator btw

I'm guessing you are using an orange coolant? That doesn't look like ATF but I don't know much about that.

Slight leak somewhere in radiator or trans cooler line?

.
Overtighten, undertighten, debris on seals or chipped seal while installing. I'd try find where exactly is the leak
