Post by FCPEURO »

Hey Mathews,

I just wanted to pop in to let everyone know of a new product we just recently brought in - OEM Sachs Quick Struts NOW AVAILABLE for your Volvo!

Take advantage of a pre-assembled strut comprised of all OEM components. There's no need to compress the coil spring, just bolt these into place. The struts and coil springs are made by Sachs while the upper mounts are also OEM INA branded. Even the top hardware is even marked Volvo!

Offering the OEM Sachs Quickstruts now makes it possible install original equipment with ease!

Find Quick Struts for all available models on our site https://www.fcpeuro.com/products?keywor ... quickstrut:

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me personally at [email protected]

This is a great idea. Swapping out an assembled strut takes no time, but messing around with spring compressors isn't everyone's cup of tea. A quick strut that isn't built with a garbage shock is a fantastic thing.

I wonder about the coil springs, what kind of ride they will be.

A quick strut for the P80 with decent spring seats and strut mounts is unheard of, this is great news!

I will certainly consider this option for my 05' V70, which is due for a suspension refresh. The price seems fair and it will save a lot of time.

For sure. Everything I've seen before that's pre-assembled has been cheap Chinese junk.

Just for anyone who is curious for comparison's sake... my recent front strut overhaul was a touch under $500 with parts from FCP. That included Bilstein TC struts, XC90 spring seats, bump stops, strut bearings and a few pieces of hardware I thought prudent to replace.

A bit of $100 more than a true DIY rebuild ain't too bad! WAY better than paying a dealer or shop!
