Personally I think i prefer the non-turbo. I bought my s70 to be an old but safe project car turned daily driver with a stick. I don't really need to go anywhere too quickly and with the amount of stuff i've had to fix the last thing i'd want is a turbo and its associated upgrades.

That actually makes sense! I really like that 98 in the ad because it is so low mileage with good service records. The 98 is the last year for a throttle cable but updated looks. I way prefer a mechanical gas pedal over drive by wire. I personally have never had issue yet with a ETM knock on wood! June

You're lucky with your 2004 at least, you have the later Bosch ETB. Those are known to be very reliable.

New rule. Flippers have to at least take it off the trailer.

By the way, States are aggressively enforcing title jumping to collect tax revenue. Title jumping is when the flipper buys it, never titles it , then says he has the signed title from the Previous owner to transfer to you. The sale is on the up and up but this practice is illegal.

Flippers do it to avoid the sales or property tax on their transaction fo course.

What a PEACH of a car. 64k miles, service records, great driver's seat leather. Wow.

Volvo S70 sedan

White/ tan leather

Moon roof, alloys, power front seats, climate control a/c and heat, 2 keys, 2 remotes.

Extremely clean inside and out.

Leather is in excellent condition with NO rips or tears.

NO hail damage, NO stars or cracks in windshield.

64 k miles, yes....... that's right only 64 k miles !

This is a unicorn for sure.

An elderly ladies car originally from Texas that was garaged it's whole life and driven very little over it's lifetime.

(Remember the little ole lady who only drive her car to church on Sunday? This is her car !!!!!

The following has been done in the last 2k miles and/or this month:

Complete timing belt service including H2O pump, tensioners, idler, etc. (mileage 62.2k, 12/16)
New spark plugs
Rear engine mount
Upper torque mount
Upper strut springs
4 wheel alignment
R/F door lock actuator
Brake flush
Antifreeze flush

Oil and filter change 4/20
4 new (40k warranty tires) 4/20

This is a Non-turbo, runs on regular gas and averages mid 20's mpg.

1998 is one of the best years for a Volvo.

It is the last year before the coil pacs (drive by wire) and other electronic changes and is the most desirable of the 3 yrs this car was made from 98-2000.

With average mileage of 12k /year, a l998 vehicle should have at least 264.000 miles, BUT this car only has 64k, 200,000 miles LESS!

That's leaves a lot of years of driving left to experience with this car.

Everything has been maintained routinely and all services are up to date.

If you are a true Volvo lover, this is the car for you and the ideal car to put a new driver in.

This is almost like a barn find vehicle.

Asking $4250

Hurry as I know the first person to see the car will buy it.

Remember that this car needs absolutely nothing and ALL services are up to date.
He wont get 4K for it, sorry. He’s trying to wring 3000 out of his flip, but 4K is way too much for a 20 year old car.

Competition like this....

Don’t accept this,
Though it's not legal, nothing can be tracked and as long as the title matches the car, you have nothing to worry about. Not like that points to it being stolen or anything, and you can have a stolen car with a perfectly clear title too. Besides, NC makes it really hard to jump titles now. Most notaries make the buyer sign the title too, making it impossible to jump titles. And the taxes and waiting time for titles are outrageous right now... took my dad 3 months to get the title for his X3.

The people that get all weird about flippers annoy me... I've lost sales because of that, and it's ridiculous. It's as if they assume I'm doing something sketchy highly illegal by flipping a car. You'd think they're adopting a dog... "how long has this been in the family?" "has it been reliable?" "is it comfortable for long road trips?" I don't know! Would a dealer be able to tell you any of this? In my experience, dealers are way sketchier than flippers.

But yeah, if you're selling a running/driving car, you really need to take it off the trailer. It sends the wrong message!
