P0112 intake air temp circuit low input
Hi everyone. I have recently acquired a 97 850 glt wagon and am trouble shooting code p0112 intake air temp sensor.(p0117 is next for passing emissions if you happen to know about that) I've been following along on a few similar posts and learned that it should be under the driver side next to the radiator alongside another air sensor. Only it's not there(The grey plugged one is though). The wiring that I would of thought would go to it because of it being right next to the wiring for the other sensor instead goes up to what I can only assume is a horn. Previous owner said he unplugged the alarm horn because it was annoying. It was unplugged.
There was also some wiring tubing just hanging there under the hood near the sensor going to nothing. Followed it up to the center front part of the bay in front of the radiator.
If any of this makes sense to you I am eager to feel the same.

I think the intake sensor you are looking for is in the cabin air intake.

This is where I got the idea that p0112 was my IAT sensor.
As well as the location on a 97 850. And found the matching colors to the mystery wires via included picture of location. Would my cabin intake really throw the same code and be a fail for emissions in USA? And where is it?
