Has anybody tried to hook up an auxiliary fuel pump on a '98-'00 XC?
Was wondering if instead of cutting the floorboard (seat and carpet removal, etc.) and the expense of a replacement pump if I could just install an inline aftermarket electric pump to get me through until my life improves (mangled my right hand in an accident; not working so money's tight. :/ ).
If so, what kind of pressure/flow would I need? (Edit: did just find I need at least a 40 psi)
Thanks in advance...

You need a minimum of 43psi at the fuel rail. This can be checked at the Shraeder valve on the fuel rail.
