How to disconnect electrical plug from idle air motor?

I'm in the middle of removing my intake manifold from my 93 850NA to replace the PCV system and clean the EGR . I need to remove the electrical connection from the idle air motor and its stuck. Is it a simple push on pull off plug or is there a mechanical release that I am not seeing?

There is a mechanical release. Wire type push then pull plug off.

Push and hold the wire, the wiggle the connector.
