help, she's got 203,000 on her and i don't have the $1600 to get the evaporator replaced. Any other solutions? Its been recharged 3 times since last year and the last one had a double shot of sealant.

Any additional solutions would be great.

Charge some more....cheaper than the $1600....but check around...have heard the procedure done at indy shops for nearly half that amount.

The Volvo dealership here at the northside of Indianapolis offered to replace evaporator for $1550. The Volvo dealership in NE Indiana (Ft Wayne) offered $1650. $1600 seems to be the going rate.
