heated seat not working drivers side

2002 V70 Xc with the ECC system. When I scanned the car- I got a code for heated seat switch intermittent.
Can you replace the switch on cars with ECC or is it part of the panel?
If you cant replace it is there a way to wire around it?
Its 7 degrees in Illinois and my butts cold....

Switch pops out from front of panel once you get access , but check for voltage at seat plug to confirm diagnosis before throwing parts

So you pop it out thru the front of the panel, or do you have to take the whole panel out to get to it?
