Lights not flashing when locking car S60 2003

Hi, you guys are my source of wisdom here

So i lock the car with the remote but the lights don't blink.. i have already researched and found sometimes you need to slam the bonnet and make sure all doors are closed, I've done that but no luck. Weird thing is that if i go close to the driver's side taillight and lock the car, i can hear some kind of relay clicking twice that seems related to the blinking..

Is there anything else i can check for this? All lights work

Ok so a little more investigation under the bonnet and look what I found! It doesn't solve the issue but it's a start

It looks like the connector for the switch built into the latch assembly on the passenger side. There's also a latch on the driver side, i imagine that also has a switch? If so, i need to trace down the wiring and find the other connector
