Rear driveshaft doesn't turn.

Hello I've got a 2000 Volvo V70xc AWD SE and i jacked u all 4 tires to check the awd system, I noticed no power to rear wheels so i crawled underneath and saw the drive shaft was not turning. Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely issue is the collar drive from the trans to the angle gear has failed. It has a spline on the inside and the outside acts as a seal between it and the transmission. The splines fail over time and best case just needs a new collar. Worst case is it has damage the connecting splines on the angle gear shaft and it is scrap also. Either way the only way to find out is to pull the angle gear to investigate.

Search forum for Angle Gear Sleeve.
My 2005 XC90 AWD 2.5T sleeve is gone, I never bother fixing it.
In the winter, I install winter tires and call it a day (basically a FWD + winter tires).

You can fix it, but there is no warranty the sleeve will be stripped again. Just bad engineering on that sleeve thingy.
