passenger side window has fallen and cant get up

Post by McGoo »

2002 S60...Other 3 windows work, cleaned switches and PC board at master panel located on drivers door.
I dont hear the relay click for the stuck window but I do hear the click for the rest...I just cant find them.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is able to tell me where the relays for the windows are located??
Thank you!!

How is the fuse in the left side dash fuse panel?

Thanks for reply Oragex,
I've tried the fuse, it looks good and swapped with a known good to confirm.
I noticed all other switches on the master are lit with the exception of the inoperable passenger window. This is why I was thinking relay but I'm not even sure if such a relay exists!!

I'm dealing with a bit of this myself....

Will the window move if commanded by the switch on that window's door?

It wasn't responding from the passenger side switch either.
I got it moving again by removing the switch and took it apart to clean out the guts. So ultimately it was just dust and dirt accumulated over the last 15 years.
... now its on to the front strut!!
