Drivetrain swap 06 xc70 to 04 S60 AWD

Anyone have insight on whether I can swap the drivetrain from an 06 XC70 (rollover, but runs and drives, 114k) into a 2004 S60 AWD 2.5T (rebuilt trans, new turbo, blown motor)? I was thinking of dropping the entire subframe with the steering rack and everything from the 06 XC and putting it in the 04 S60. Hoping I can pull as much of the wiring harness as possible; if I remember correctly the wire harness has a disconnect under the wiper cowl. Supposedly the engines are interchangeable but I am not certain on the trans, as the number on the S60 is 55-51SN and on the XC is 55-51S. Appreciate any input here before I dig into it. I already own both vehicles.
