1990-760 Will Not Restart After Driven
My friend has a 1990-4 cy 760 with Turbo... It will start when cold but will not restart after the engine has been warmed up and turned off... It turns over easily and does try to start.. Just one or 2 cylinders will briefly fire... Any ideas will be appreciated... Jim

The next time your friends car decides not to start, have him take a blunt object, like a rock, and tap the housing of the main fuel pump. This pump is located under the car, below the driver's seat. Should it start after that, it is time for your friend to replace BOTH fuel pumps and BOTH fuel filters.
Search this forum for my experiences with my fuel pumps for details and clarification. It has been 23 months and 11,000 miles since I replaced both of my fuel pumps and fuel filters and my car still starts everytime.
