Cracked hose ID Topic is solved

Hey guys,
In searching for the source of stalls and misfires, I happen to stumble upon this hose (?) on the driver's side, to the left and rear of the airbox. I didn't see any stray hoses elsewhere, but presumably it shouldn't be disconnected. The white piece is rubbery.

Is it right on top of the transmission? Mine has one too. Pretty sure it's normal.

Yep. If I remember correctly, it's mounted on the wheel arch towards the rear of the engine.

Normal it is a vent hose for the trans case.
