Auto Trans No Drive No Reverse No Park

I have a 1995 850 wagon non turbo. Problem in no drive, reverse or park. Had the trans rebuilt 20,000 miles ago. Rebuilt the pnp switch no luck. Ordered a new one. Is there internal linkage that's excesable with out pulling the trans ??? Trans just stopped working after it was parked. No slipping no systems before the brake down. Any help is greatly appreciated. :roll:

You should have a warranty on transmission rebuilt.Take it back and let them take care of it.

Only 10,000 mile warranty. I get the new pnp switch on Saturday. We'll see what happens

I doubt that it's P'n'P switch.
If it's.....move it fast up and down a few times and that should work for a while if it's it.

I just helped a neighbor out with a similar issue in a Honda. (he has been out of work with a broken shoulder for the past 4 months) The shift lever on the transmission had frozen up and the pnp switch, too. I could get the car out of gear and it would only register in neutral and reverse at first, I sprayed the shift plate on the transmission and worked the level inside until I was able to get drive and park. I am not sure if this is your issue, but it's a suggestion.

Sounds like an axle popped out.
