Hi folks,
My wife and I currently own and love a 1998 V70 GLT. I currently drive a 2002 VW Golf and am considering selling that to purchase 1997 S90 in anticipation of our growing family. The car in question has 89K miles and the seller says it needs a new battery and "a little love." Asking price is $1100. I have not seen the car yet but am going to look at it tomorrow.
My questions to you all are what do I need to be aware of as far as common problems with these cars and specific maintenance items to check on. An obvious one is the timing belt but what else?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

Hopefully you've bought it, that great low miles, the handles break on the door, the front end usually goes around 180k but run forever if taken care of and always use good fuel
