Identify this bolt
After taking a hard right hand turn I heard a popping snapping noise. Now my S80 shudders when turning right at 25-35mph. I can't drive over over 60mph. When I dropped the splash pan to investigate this bolt fell to the ground. I'll be damed if I can find out where it came from.

Will do thank you Thai.. The rain has stoped in Syracuse now we have snow. That bolt is a 12mm x 60mm the grade is 8.8. It's not a control arm bolt so I'm going to have to put the car on ramps. I'll check the axle bolts in a day or so.

I too would have guessed the control arm bolt. It's too short to be the strut, and it's not the ball joint. Or the steering rack... Or the top of the strut. I would check the control arms on both sides, make sure all three (six) bolts are accounted for.

Looks more like an engine to transmission mounting bolt which I've attached a photo of. It's the right thread size and length from what I can tell. You should have 10 of them in total going all the way around the engine. This is one of the long ones which there are roughly 4 if I'm correct.
