Like the font used on the dashboard and on the 12v power socket caps, etc.

Is this a standard font that can be purchased or downloaded or is this a proprietary font only they use? Thanks.

I have not found a font name. I believe it's a custom graphic.

Have you tried font search engines like

https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
As a professional designer I tell you people are lazy, there is a good chance it is a standard font, maybe slighty stretched or sthg.
But then, as Robert suggests, it might be a custom font as they usually do with most car logos and lettering on the tailgate / trunk.

If you can post a pic of your Dashboard I can take a look.

If you're asking about numbers on instrument cluster and switch names, logos and badges....it's proprietary font only they use and it's recognizable Volvo font.
Renaults have similiar numbers and font style but again, only unique to Renaults.

Now I was curious, according to a web source the instrument cluster font is Handel Gothic.

ip cluster iirc must be legible by the common driver and cannot be hindered by a company's proprietariness. YMM and other display items that don't require a need to abided by a DOT standard is up for bedazzling.
ugh smh 850 Turbo fridge
