What do you think of this ipd scan tool from Foxwell? Topic is solved

Is this a generic one or a Volvo-specific one?

It is Generic, unfortunately. The Volvo one is the Dice/Ice combo but even a copy-cat version of this is going to cost you about $100 and you'll need a laptop at your car. Still, this one you post might give you enough codes and ability to reset them to be useful for most issues, especially if IPD sells it. For the price it may be worth it. However, I picked up a wifi plugin scan tool from Amazon that I think will probably do as much as this for about $25 bucks. You wifi to it with your smart phone and use an app called OBD Car Doctor which is a free download. To do more sophisticated things with the app you have to pay for it, but still maybe as good as this....don't know.

Let me add that the wifi scan tool did not even identify my '98 S70 but it did great on all of our P2 cars ('04 and '07 V70/S60) and my P1 (S40).
