850 Throttle diameter ?

I just need to know the outer diameter on the 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo throttle.
I am trying to replace the throttle body hose.

You can probably measure it with a caliper. Most people measure the inside.

Robert, I was wanting to order this part pronto since I have my existing hose held together with tape right now. I ordered one and I am pretty sure it is too large, I could not clamp it down far enough. I was thinking I read somewhere that the NA throttle body was 2.5 inches, and the turbo throttle was 2.25 inches, does that sound right?

I'm not sure. However, if you order parts from Volvo suppliers, I'm sure you will get the right size.

Yeah, I was trying to find the a silicone throttle body hose. I want it to last 20 years, it surprised me how hard that is to find.
I did finally find two suppliers, but my usual IPD does not have one.

The OE one lasted 20+ years. I doubt a silicon one will last that long!
