Hey everyone,
There are random 'clicking noises' that come form the vent area behind the radio console. The vents are constantly opening and or closing on their own with out the vent control buttons. Any ideas as to what may be going is much appreciated.
Thanks

It could be temperature regulation of the heat door, normal.

Thanks abscate, but I am not following your statement. Are you saying that the clicking noises that are coming from the console behind the radio are normal?

The temperature of the car is regulated by a motor that opens and closes damper doors, if they have some age/miles on them they can make soft noises while driving. Turn the heat all the way up and see if the stop to test this theory

These cars are pretty quiet, though, so if they are clicking it might be an early warning.

Perfect junkyard item if it's the damper motor, although new isn't too bad on cost, either.

Hey abscate, I turned the heat all the way up and the noises continue. Do you know the part number/name and a video that shows how to replace?
Thanks.
