Just stumbling around the internet and found this...wow! It's for a '95 850 but so much applies to all of our cars, up to the '98 70 series. All diagrams of every part, diagnostic how-to's and more diagnostic codes than anywhere I'm aware of. It rivals the Haynes Manual- no, it's better! A must have!

MIJ,

Glad you stumbled in the direction of this manual. It is powerful, much more so than Haynes.

Only problem I had was with the link to winrar - my computer and it were not wanting to talk so I went to http://www.rarlab.com and got it.

Holy crap, what a find! The cool thing is that it has both OBDI and OBDII in it since it's a '95!

I just wish I hadn't ponied up the $25 for AllData already. Oh well..

No problem. I hope that everyone who owns an 850 here as well as the '98 70 series will download this. By reading through it, many of the posts here to find answers to problems with our cars will become unecessary.

Darn! I've got a '99 V70! Fortunately I just got my Haynes Manual. Irritatingly, Amazon gave me the UK version.....

Cosmic, that's because there isn't a U.S. version for V70's...or S70's for that matter. I'm in the same boat as you. Still much of what is in the 850 serive manual applies. What doesn't is the ECU and electronic changes, such as the ETM.
