Oil change?

My XC70 needs oil replacement after 15,000 Km. (the manual says so)....but maybe is a little too much even for sinthetic oil.....any comments? ( I drive highway mostly and try not to abuse of turbo)

Changed mine to synthetic at 90K miles (145K kilo's?), and it's done fine...no leaks and runs smoother. I like the added insurance, especially since it has a turbo.

Changed my wife's '04 V70 over to synthetic at 3500miles (half way of the first regular routine the dealer recommends) and it now has 45K miles.

In my opinion, it is hardly ever to late to switch. However, with an engine with over 120K miles or so, I would have to weigh the pro's and con's...for instance if it already has a small leak, etc.
