Hello all,
My first post here, I have 1993 Volvo 240 wagon, and i love it! She has been serving me well, and I try to take care of her as much as I know.
I have concern about repetitive ( every 9 seconds ) clicking noise, sounds like something is being turn on/off, and it is coming from the dashboard ( I believe that noise is coming from the left side when looking at the dashboard from driver seat). Noise can be heard as well when you lift the hood. It starts as soon as I turn the key to first accessory position.
Is there any relay in that area that can go bad on go on /off by defalt... or did anyone else experience this kind of noise?
Thank you !

Possible speedometer/odometer/trip-meter gear going? try driving some where safe(parking lot) and see if the sound syncs up with the speedometer/ odometer/trip-meter. just a thought.
