I'm getting a large clunk on bumps and its right at the passenger's feet. The sway bar bushings are shot so I'd like to replace them. I know they are vulcanized to the bar so I am looking to see if anyone has figured out a way to change them or just get a new sway bar for $150.
Secondly, is swapping out the sway bar going to require me to drop the back of the sub assembly?
Has anyone changed the front sway bar bushings on their P2?

Here is some guidance on replacement. I believe there is no choice other than change out the whole bar.

I noticed there are a few types of bars for the S80, are there markings on the bar?

No choice buying the entire bar. The dealer charges $214.00 Canadian..which is probably less than half that stateside.

My dealer charged me $217.14 for the part for my 2004 S80 T6. It was changed last week. I am not sure I would use aftermarket parts for the front end.

FCPeuro has the OE parts for $130, I haven't heard anything stellar about IPD's sway bar kit.June wrote:My dealer charged me $217.14 for the part for my 2004 S80 T6. It was changed last week. I am not sure I would use aftermarket parts for the front end.
