YeS, pull the turbo and vacuum it out. Inspect for damage

They are easily rebuilt cheaply, and moreover every pick and pull grifter yanks the turbos out of junk cars thinking they harvested something of value because it’s a turbo.

You can buy them for $100-150, dont pay more.

Harry’s sells them for $60

For broken insulator, what was the brand of spark plugs?

I use only Volvo, Bosch or NGK.
2004 V70 2.5T 100K+
2005 XC90 2.5T 110K+

Sad to see this. A good reason to permanently remove the black plastic cover from the engine top, this way we can see for any oil leak on the engine cover and prevent timely from leaking it into the spark plug holes. By the way, the ignition coils do not seal "water tight" these holes, despite having a rubber base. I once had the bright idea to spray some water over the top of the engine, and sure enough 3 of the 5 spark plug holes got filled with water (and I lost a coil by the same)

I'm gonna pull the turbo tonight,, I'll update with details, thanks for the info!!

Volvo,, I don't think it would have happened, if my coil harness wasnt in such bad shape.
