93 240 coolant temp sensor 123 code

Post by ordinaryboy1986 »

Pulling a 123 code. Changed the sensor and connector. Cleared the codes. Check engine light back on. I noticed my kick down cable is kinda frayed at the plastic. Cars shifting fine. But slight hesitation barley noticeable but exhaust does smell and I think my gas mileage is not as good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y'all!

Also, no issues with cold start warm or hot start. The exhaust just smells and car runs pretty good

Cleared the code and it went away for a week and jus to poppped back on. Exhaust pipe isn't black on the outside maybe just a bit on the inside of the pipe. FUEL gauge is all over the place now as well
