Can I use good sensors from another etm?
I installed the etm repair kit and it flat out sucks. I can't get it calibrated without grinding a new spot on the shaft and I'm tired of fooling with it. I have a good spare etm but it has different software so I can't just swap them out. My question is, can I remove the sensors from the good one and install them in place of the crap on the other one?

The position sensors are passive and have no identity so if they are good you should be able to swap them.

Nice, fiddling with this "repair kit" is beyond frustrating. It was easy to install but the voltages are off between the two sensors so the ETS light stays on. I don't have enough play to be able to adjust it within spec without grinding a new spot on the shaft, not really worth the hassle. I'll swap the sensors over from the good unit and start saving for a xemodex.
