Hi all,
Just repaired my 2002 Volvo S60's left turn signal issue by removing the steering column cover and cleaning off the contact points on the turn signal pcb as per these guides:
- viewtopic.php?t=51877
- http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread ... nal-repair
As I was putting the cover back on to finish the job a tiny taper pin (I think that's what it's called) fell out. Wondering if anyone knows where this pin came from and how I can go about putting it back.
Thanks!

Could it be from the steering lock mechanism ??
Don't they have shear pins?
Maybe one come loose.

cn90 posted a link in my key-wear thread showing disassembly of the ignition lock cylinder, and your part is from the cylinder mechanism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzUduzjR9W4
