New to me 1800E

Thought I would post some pics of my 1800E project. My first car was a 1968 122S then went into a 1970 1800E. I want this to be a perfect car. I have waited a long time.

An ambitious project. Good luck. I'm also new to the car. I purchased a '71 in June that was disassembled and painted. It's a puzzle without the box with missing pieces to boot. It looks like you're a mechanic from the pictures. Once mine is running perhaps we could meet and exchange some info. Was your car complete? Many issues with electrical and running issues on my end. Now water pump sounds like garbage disposal full of rocks. I do and have liked the car since I was a kid. Just not enough money to purchase a good running car.
