What metal is the '00 OEM catalytic converter pipe?

What metal is the OEM catalytic converter pipe (after the cat) made from? I'm specifically asking about the original cat on a 2000 V70.

I foolishly cut off the ball connector end of my cat pipe (long story) and I'm trying to have it welded back together inside of a protective sleeve. I need to identify the cat pipe metal so I can get a sleeve of the same metal and use the correct welding materials.
