Ignition key spinning-1998 s80

Hello,

I have read of a similar problem in the s70 section. When I put the key into the ignition, often it spins around several times before it catches and starts. The problem is intermittent but happens more often than it connects and starts. Could this also be the ignition tumbler and is the way to replace it the same as the below link?
