how many 02 sensors on 2000 v70 XC? Topic is solved

My mechanic says I have a bad front (upstream?) 02 sensor. How many are there on this vehicle, and where are they located?

Two. One in front of the cat, one behind.

Yup. Upstream is visible from the top, on the downpipe, before the cat.

Hi Ed with a 2000 V70XC, I'm Ed with a 2000 V70XC!

If you're replacing the sensors, be sure to use genuine Bosch parts. That way they are direct plug & play with no splicing required, and you know they're the right specs.

Are you by chance also having any issues with a recurring cat converter code?
