Hi will a 2001 v70 radiator fit a 1999 v70 automatic

No. Different body style = different rad.

You'd need one of these (or equivalent Volvo OEM). I've had good luck with my Nissens replacement for years now.

I got 4 years out of Nissens but bought another from FCP. Next one on them

I'm hearing so much about the Nissens radiators.

On the international (US) sites it's mostly good.

Here in Denmark, however, the advice is not to buy them. Apparently they too are manufactured in China and only the very high-end Nissens radiators for industrial use are made in DK/EU. I don't have anything against Nissens, just saying that you may easily be able to get the same standard radiator for less money.
