2003 S40 Rack and Pinion unit replacement.

Has anyone done this on their own? Is there a procedure for doing this? After looking at the engine bay, im not sure it's an easy replacement. Any knowledge would be most helpful.

Well, be decided to give it a go myself. I have a Haynes manual on the way, but not sure it'll actually give guidance to replacing the unit. I'll try and take pics (if I can remember) and post them here.

I have found Haynes manuals decent.
But also did lots of other searching on-line.
Considering what's out there for your vintage Volvo, it's not a bad reference.
