CLICKING window switch

XC70 2001 I have a clicking coming from my drivers window switch, it only from cold and its almost certainly coming from the switch (although i cant feel the clicks) and not the lock or mirror. It sounds like a relay having a tantrum, anyone know if they a swappable with same year or 2002 model cars, there is some saying they are coded to the car??

Just tried my 2002 known working switch in my 2001xc and it doesnt work, same part number 09193383 must be coded to car
