Hi,
I am looking to get a Single Dim Radio to replace the factory radio cause I want to be able to have the option to reinstall the factory radio at a later time. When installing the new radio, a couple of posts I have seen mention the connector pins needing to match up. Is each after market radio plug different? I basically just want to have the option for siriusxm in the vehicle (the reason for the upgrade). If there is a specific after market radio that you recommend that installs easily in the 850R, please let me know. Also, if I need any other additional accessories.
Thank you.

Most after market radios follow an ISO standard, which means you can use this harness to hook it up without having to modify the wiring harness in your car:

I'll recommend getting a Pioneer head unit.

Agreed, it's pretty slick installing aftermarket radios with ISO connectors using a pre-connectorized
adapters like the one linked above, but many ship with a permanently attached, bare-ended wiring harness.
Fortunately, nearly all aftermarket radios are supplied with an ISO color coded wiring harness, just like the
majority of car specific wiring harness adapters. You can easily connect by color - Here's an example from Metra:

There are also some kits out there that include a pocket for the empty single DIN space:

You also can just install USA SPEC or a GROM unit for less than a good aftermarket radio and you will have the connectors for a Satellite radio!
These use the CD CHANGER out plug

If you order the head from Crutchfield, they generally include the model specific harness adapter and 1U pocket for free. Just installed a 1U Pioneer MVH-X390BT in my 2000 V70XC in all of 15 min. Very nice helpful people there too.
