Lysithia wheel TPMS compatible?

Post by Georgeandkira »

My 2007 has 16" "Echo" wheels and TPMS sensors.

"Lysithia" is a 9 spoke, 15" wheel which isn't too popular as it isn't at all sporty. "Musca" is another 15" design from the pre-facelift era.

I was wondering if the earlier, pre-facelift era designs accommodated TPMS sensors. Thanks

It might be worth cross posting this in the later forum as I think you have the first year of TPMS only in this forum? Give me a few to figure out how to do that best G&K

Are you saying that 2007 was the first year for TPMS? That'd be noteworthy.

Since we're on the subject. What are the Ins-and-outs of replacing TPMS sensors? I know there's a scanner/selector involved.

Are aftermarket ones OK if you have said machine? Do new Volvo ones just work without initialization? I could og on. G&K
