I let my '02 V70 wagon sit for several months without even starting it. During this time the battery completely discharged and stayed discharged for an unknown period. When I started the car last week, the battery would not hold a charge and had to be replaced. The car now runs about like it did before sitting up (like you'd expect of a car with over 250K miles). There is however, one new problem. The displays for the clock, odometer, shift position, etc are all extremely dim and the radio does not work. At times the radio will display the frequency it's tuned to but it won't play. I seem to recall that at one time I had the dealer turn off the default DRLs and they are now back on again. The lights, turn signals, electric windows, power accessories all work as usual. The system voltage is 13.75 v at idle and about 13.5 v with the engine turned off.
Thoughts?

and beat the dealer into a pulp with the burned out headlight bulbs..I had the dealer turn off the default DRLs and they are now back on again.
DRLS were invented in Area 51 and tested on the grassy knoll in Dallas.
