Guard II Alarm fob. Repairable?

Hi All,
My alarm fob is taking longer and longer to get to work. The buttons are not making contact very well. Has anyone tried a repair on their fob or maybe theres a video about showing how it can be done?
Or am I screwed and looking at another fob?
