Beyond the P2... which XC90?

I love my 2006 V70 but it has 207k miles and I am thinking about what's next. I like Volvo, want AWD and 3rd row and not terrible fuel economy.

Could I get some advice about which year/engine to search and/or which to avoid in an XC90? I am looking for used, around 100k miles.

Any other suggestions appreciated, not stuck on the XC90. I might get a toyota sienna awd, but I want a car with 3 across second row, and lots of minivans now have 2 second row captain chairs.

I like to find a range of model years to seek, then patiently look online for a used car at a decent price nearby.

Sadly what was probably the best drivetrain configuration Volvo put in the XC90s in the year/price range that I'm guessing you're looking at was never brought to the US...the D5. The two choices you'll have are between the 3.2L l6 and the V8, both NA. Performance wise the 3.2 is going to be about on par with what you're used to in the V70 NA. The V8 has better performance characteristics comparable to the Turbo sedans, but is a serious gas guzzler if that is a consideration for you. The AWD was updated to the Halidex 3.0 system in 2006 which is considered better/more reliable than 2.0 in previous MYs, which was carried through to the SPAs in 2014.
As far as the 2013 cosmetic refresh I'll leave it up to somebody who actually has one to say whether it's worth holding out for. I will say any of the 2010+ when Volvo did away with the plastic trim around the wheel arches look super sharp in any of the darker colors.

There were some built in the 2005-2006 range with the 2.5T engine, unless that's too old.

My V70 is NA and while it lacks pep, it also lacks turbo lag and turbo repairs.
