Post by FCPEURO »

Hey Mathews,

My name is Jason Van Gorden and I'm the Volvo Product Manager here at FCP Euro. I just wanted to drop in to let everyone know that we're running special pricing on our OE Sachs Shock Kit! This kit comprises of two Sachs Shocks and two Hutchinson upper mounts.

We're offering this kit at $130.99
You can click HERE to view it on our website.

Sachs & Hutchinson are OE suppliers for Volvo and offer the same components as came new when your Volvo was built at the factory.
Want to learn more about OE vs Genuine? Click HERE to view our OE Academy.

Don't forget that all of our parts come backed with our Lifetime Replacement Guarantee which means that you'll never have to buy them again!
We also offer Free Shipping over $49 and Hassle-Free Returns.

Lastly, Everyone here at FCP Euro thanks you for the continued support over the years and for giving us the opportunity to be your go to source for replacement parts.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask, we're always happy to help. You can email me personally at [email protected]

Thanks

Jason

I email Jason and Kyle responds asking for a VIN... This must make bathroom and coffee runs tricky.

Apparently the kit doesn't fit turbo charged V70 XC AWD. I'll just have to wait until the next great deal does =)

I've learned in the past that if an automated system says something doesn't fit, it is usually a result of the negation being added due to previous human error.
Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.
In order to learn how to fix something, you must first learn how to break it.

Hi Wiz,

The kit above is for FWD models only. For your vehicle we'll need a photo of your product plate off your vehicle which is found by the battery. There are a few different variations for the rear but if we don't have the kit you need, I'd be more than happy to make one for you.

Thanks

Jason

I'm pretty sure all AWD P80s have Nivomats. So the computer is actually right this time.
Although FCP's website said the Hutchinson lower torque rod they carry (with the correct P/N for my car) was only for P2 cars, and I ordered it anyway and it fits perfectly. Same P/N and everything as stock.
