Threw back in my original radio no cd, noticed no Audio coming out, Did it die just sitting in my garage?
Wondering the steps to check, i put in code, and no audio comes out speakers.
Put the "premium sound" sc811 from my wagon and it works,
Is there any difference between the sound quality of these different units, Im of the understanding I need a Amp to play my 3cd one that i had given to me from a C70, But this SC813 i got with the car, worked great when i got the car, changed it out for a cd one, ended up selling my cd one to a guy i sold some parts for because i have like 4 radios sitting here. Very strange how one is dead, figured id post here and see if anyone had anything similar happen to them... Very unfortunate if the radios toast Its not a remanufacturered unit as ive seen before.

Yes the premium sound system versions sound a lot better.

It may be due to long storage and how it was stored that is the issue. I have pulled many over the years from PnP and not had a dud yet. Must be bad luck.
