Upgrading TD04-13T to T5 turbo

Hi

My ride is S70-2.0 LPT producing 163bhp and 230nm tourqe. B5204T4.

Can I upgrade the 13T turbo to 850/V70 T5 turbo
(If not mistaken TD04-15) without upgrading my car ecu, injectors, fuel pump and exhaust system ?

I just need maybe extra 17 bhp to make the LPT 180bhp. I don

You should ask your questions over on Volvospeed.com message board, but even before you do that, you should search over there and then post. There are a lot of people over there doing such upgrades but they tend to be a bit rude when someone comes over and doesn't do a proper search and then just blindly posts, so be ready for some of that. I personally think you should be able to do this upgrade without much effort but you may have a flanged downpipe from your turbo while the 16T (on the T5) is straight and therefore you may have to fab a connection. Also, if you go to the bigger turbo that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get the boost that it has the potential for without a remap (chipping or download) to your ECU as your current ECU's software is going to compensate for something it's not used to. Anyway, those over there will be able to tell you. Make sure you post in the right section (mods/upgrades) and not the maintenance section. Good luck!
