Winter is coming.. as they say in the world of westeros...
anyhow.
i've got some issues with my door lock actuator, and now that winter is indeed coming here in norway. i'll have to adress it somehow.
the tumbler freezes. probably beause of it being wet and old.. however, this is not the main problem.
the problem i'm having is with the keyfob. when i actuate the actuator (lol) and lock the car, the car gets locked, but when i press unlock on the fob. all other doors unlock, but the drivers side. i'm completly unable to use the door handle until i open the car with the key..
and that is what makes my head spin..
why in the f.... hell can i open it with the key? but no with the fob? the key is not mechanically linked to the actuator (or so it seems?) it only activates a microswitch to unlock? (or am i totaly wrong here?) and thus it should not matter if the key or the fob is used?
i've searched and searched the big interwebs, but it seems to me like people usually are having problems with the actuator motor just completly dying. mine works by the sound of it. and it does lock the car..
help?
Dan
