Silly P2 tricks - part Deux

Okay - I just figured out today...

If I put my P2 into reverse gear with the wipers (front) turned on in any position

It wipes the rear window for me , twice.

This option only came with the rare heated third row seat package.

One of those neat little touches. It can be turned on or off using Vida. Mine is off to keep it from ruining the motor when the rear of the car is frozen.

STANDARD with every single P2 I've owned regardless of any option package.

Yeah...was this covered in the post-sale briefing ?

Actually, there is a funny reason I haven't noticed this before.

When I start this car, put on my seatbelt, turn on speaker , and then release the parking brake , it rolls down the driveway and is poised for takeoff just as the car comes off high idle....so I've never used reverse gear.

Probably a traffic violation or two

I've noticed this on my P2 2001 V70 T5 and second guessed there is some mysterious stuff going on with the rear wiper.

Never noticed it was while in reverse

One of you guys with VIDA should let us know all the tricks we are missing

Adjustable seat heat
DRL
Rear wiper reverse gear integration
Auto locks ( thank God I got those turned off)
Sun sensor on climate system gain

There are lists of user configurable parameters available in Swedish on the internet. I'll see if I can find it and at least Google-translate it later.
